Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is a fictional character created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. A brilliant London-based "consulting detective", Holmes is famous for his intellectual prowess and is renowned for his enormous scope of observation, his astute logical reasoning and his forensic science skills to solve difficult cases.

Conan Doyle wrote four novels and 56 short stories featuring Holmes. All but four stories are narrated by Holmes's friend and biographer, Dr. John H. Watson; two are narrated by Holmes himself and two others are written in the third person.

The enduring popularity of Sherlock Holmes has led to many stage and cinematic adaptations of Conan Doyle's work. You may use images of any of these adaptations or anything relating to Sherlock Holmes. Your icons do not need to be of the man himself but of anything based on the literary world of Sherlock Holmes.

I will also accept images relating to the stories of Basil of Baker Street which includes the Disney movie The Great Mouse Detective

Here are a few resources to help you find some images. You do not need to use these images, you may find your own.
